Philanthropist Dr Justice Mhishi has called for peace and unity in Zimbabwe, urging people not to be swayed into joining any planned protests but instead use their time and energy to build the nation.
Dr Mhishi made the call as he continues with his nationwide charity drive, through which he has been donating wheelchairs and other essential goods to less privileged communities across the country.
While his messsge was directed to all Zimbabweans, he was more specific to the young people, urging them to play a positive role in its development rather than being drawn into activities that could disrupt peace and progress.
Dr Mhishi urged young people to remain focused on building their communities and contributing to national development.
“The time is to build and be united as a people under the leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa,” he said.
He also denounced any planned protests, saying Zimbabweans should safeguard peace and work together towards the development of the country.

His call comes as he continues his charity work, which has seen him reach out to people living with disabilities and other disadvantaged members of society through donations of wheelchairs and other essentials.
Dr Mhishi said his nationwide charity drive was part of efforts to restore hope and dignity among vulnerable people while complementing national efforts to improve the lives of communities.
He encouraged young people to use their skills and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to Zimbabwe’s development instead of allowing themselves to be influenced into taking part in protests.
The philanthropist said unity and peace were important for the country to move forward, calling on Zimbabweans to work together in building a better nation.
“Let us take the time to build our nation,” Dr Mhishi said.
