Philanthropist Justice Mhishi has extended his charitable work to the health sector after donating hospital beds, crutches, wheelchairs and computers to Kambuzuma Polyclinic in Harare, while initiating a project to renovate the clinic and improve its toilet facilities.

The intervention is expected to strengthen the facility’s capacity to provide healthcare services to the community, while the planned renovations seek to improve the environment for both patients and health workers.
Mhishi has over the years undertaken various philanthropic initiatives across Zimbabwe, with particular attention to persons with disabilities and vulnerable communities.
His charitable work has included donating wheelchairs to people with disabilities and those in need, helping improve their mobility, independence and ability to participate in everyday activities.
He has also supported communities through borehole projects aimed at improving access to clean and safe water, addressing one of the basic needs affecting many communities.
And continued travels across the country have seen him identify communities and individuals requiring assistance, with his interventions focusing on practical solutions to challenges affecting disadvantaged people.
At Kambuzuma Polyclinic, the donation of hospital beds is expected to support patient care, while the crutches and wheelchairs will assist people with mobility challenges.
The computers will provide additional resources for the facility’s administrative and operational needs.
Beyond the donated equipment, Mhishi’s initiative to renovate the clinic and improve its toilet facilities highlights the importance of investing in healthcare infrastructure and creating a dignified environment for patients accessing public health services.
The Kambuzuma intervention adds to his growing philanthropic drive, which includes healthcare support, disability assistance and community development initiatives.
