Gohori Resort brought the charm of Mutoko to the just-ended Sanganai/Hlanganani Dzimbabwe Tourism Expo, showcasing the area’s natural beauty and tourism experiences to local, regional and international buyers.
The boutique resort, located in the heart of Mutoko, made its debut appearance at the tourism expo, which was held in Masvingo from September 9 to 12, 2026.
As a first-time exhibitor, Gohori Resort used the platform to showcase its luxury facilities while also highlighting what Mutoko has to offer as a tourism destination.
Gohori Resort founder Bernard Kasekete, said their participation at Sanganai had been a success, with international buyers showing interest in the resort and Mutoko.
“At Sanganai Hlanganani Dzimbabwe Tourism Expo, Gohori Resort presented to the world what Mutoko has to offer.
“Each interaction with local, regional and international buyers opened a new layer of tourism offerings that Mutoko and Gohori Resort have to offer.
“Our exhibition was a resounding success, with several international buyers committing to add Gohori Resort and Mutoko to their itineraries for 2027 and beyond,” said Kasekete.
Gohori Resort offers guests an opportunity to experience the natural charm of Mutoko while enjoying luxury accommodation and services.
Kasekete said guests could also take part in a number of activities, designed to give them a feel of the area.

Gohori Resort is a premium boutique lodge situated on the foothills of Gohori Mountain and currently offers 30 suites.
The resort is known for its views and sunsets and is located close to Harare, making it a destination for both leisure and corporate travellers.
Kasekete said the resort would continue working with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) to promote tourism in Mutoko.
The resort is also expecting a strong festive season, with local and international travellers already booking rooms for the Christmas period and beyond.
