Celebrated South African gospel artist, Dr Winnie Mashaba is set to arrive in Zimbabwe this Thursday, ahead of Tatenda Mahachi’s live recording and album launch.
The live recording and album launch will be held this Friday 10 October 2025, at the 7 Arts Theatre in Harare.
Her participation marks a special moment in Mahachi’s musical journey, as the two previously collaborated on the 2022 single titled “A Friend”.
The award-winning artist’s presence adds a strong regional touch to what promises to be one of the year’s most anticipated gospel gatherings.
Speaking ahead of the big night, Mahachi said preparations were in their final stages, as everything was in place to deliver a night of worship and prayer that audiences will forever cherish.
“We are ready, and the excitement is building up. Hosting this live recording means a lot to me because it’s not just about the music, it’s about creating a space where people can connect with God in a powerful way,” said Mahachi.
He described Dr Mashaba’s visit as both humbling and significant.
“Having Dr Winnie Mashaba join us again is a great honour.
“She carries such a deep ministry and passion for worship. Her being part of this event reminds me of the beauty of collaboration and how music can bring believers together across borders,” he said.
With a powerful line-up that includes Sabastian Magacha, King David, Baba na Mai Charamba, Kuda Mutsvene, and Jonah Chivasa, Mahachi promised an evening filled with heartfelt praise and inspired performances.
“Everyone involved has poured their heart into this. The team is ready, the music is ready, and we are looking forward to seeing lives transformed through song,” he added.
