More than 60 people with disabilities received a llifeline recently after Prophet Justice Mhishi, founder of Kingdom Faith Church and owner of Mhishi Liner Transport Company, donated brand-new wheelchairs in a gesture that has been hailed as life-changing.

The donation, handed over at a colourful event hosted by the church, drew hundreds of congregants, community leaders and beneficiaries who described the initiative as a blessing to families often struggling with mobility challenges.

The programme is part of his Prophet Mhishi’s ministry mission to uplift communities spiritually and physically.

“We cannot preach love and leave people suffering when it is within our power to help. “These wheelchairs will restore dignity and ease the burden carried by families caring for loved ones with disabilities,” said Bishop Marange from the church.

Along with the wheelchairs, Prophet Mhishi also extended his hand to the elderly, many of whom are grappling with food insecurity. Dozens of senior citizens received food hampers.

Beneficiaries expressed joy, with some saying the donations were an answered prayer.

Bishop Marange praised Prophet Mhishi’s commitment to service.

“What we have witnessed today is true Christianity in action. Prophet Mhishi is not only preaching the gospel but is living it by showing compassion to the vulnerable. His generosity is a challenge to all of us to do more for our communities,” added Bishop Marange.

Community members described the gesture as a beacon of hope, especially at a time when many families are struggling with the high cost of living.

It has been revealed that the programme would continue, as the church and business would keep working together to bring relief and hope to the disadvantaged.

“This is just the beginning. As long as God gives us strength, we will continue to stand with the disabled, the elderly and the poor,” added Bishop Marange.
