Winners of the recently held Mabvuku/Tafara Schools Public Speaking Competition on The Strength Is In You anti-drug campaign, which was supported by Population Solutions for Health (PSH) were honoured at the Swedish Residence on Thursday.
When the competition was held last week at Mabvuku High School, winners were advised that they would perform their speeches and receive the prizes at the launch of the second phase of The Strength Is In You campaign.
And it was a moment of sheer glory as Bernard Kateguru (Tafara 1 High School), Leon Mwandiringa (Five Star College) and Chenai Sakupwanya (Mabvuku High School) who came first, second and third place respectively, were honoured in front of the large crowd.

And their schools were also honoured for the triumph which featured 4 other schools.

As for Kateguru, Mwandiringa and Sakupwanya, all eyes were on them as they delivered their winning speeches, much to the delight of dignitaries who included Deputy Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare Mercy Dinha.

The trio came tops in the competition which had 11 other students from 7 Mabvuku and Tafara schools and they received medals and stationery in prizes.
