HSP REALTY has chosen Nashie Zim as its new brand ambassador after identifying strong similarities between the real estate company’s brand and the young musician and song writer’s personal journey.

The partnership, which was officially announced on September 2, is being built around the theme “Building Legacy Together”, with HSP REALTY saying Nashie’s identity, authenticity, influence and growth journey closely mirror its own ambitions.

HSP REALTY founder and CEO Leonita Mhishi said the company was deliberate in choosing an ambassador who represented more than just a recognisable face.

“For us, a Brand Ambassador cannot simply be a recognisable face. They must represent something,” Mhishi said.

She said the company was looking for someone with influence, authenticity, talent, discipline, visibility and a story.

According to Mhishi, Nashie stood out because he had built his own identity, voice and audience while continuing to grow and evolve.

“What particularly attracted us to this partnership is that you have built your own identity. You have your own voice, your own audience and your own journey.

“There is something very powerful about partnering with someone who is still building, still evolving and still hungry for greater things.”

Mhishi said Nashie’s journey reflected the HSP REALTY story, which is also centred on building, growth and pushing boundaries.

“Because that is also the HSP REALTY story.

“We are building. We are growing. We are pushing boundaries and challenging what a Zimbabwean real estate brand can become – locally, regionally and internationally.”

The company said its ambitions go beyond simply selling houses, with its focus including creating opportunities, facilitating investment, supporting developments and helping people build wealth and legacy through property.

This is where the company sees another connection with Nashie’s brand, as the partnership seeks to use her influence to encourage young people to consider property ownership and investment.

Mhishi said the company wanted Nashie’s audience to discover property ownership and understand that owning land, investing in property and creating generational wealth were achievable aspirations.

At the same time, HSP REALTY intends to support and celebrate Nashie’s own growth journey, making the partnership a two-way relationship rather than a conventional endorsement deal.

The partnership will include campaigns, property showcases, content, appearances and other activities aimed at increasing engagement between the two brands.

Mhishi said HSP REALTY’S “Burgundy Standard”, which represents excellence, professionalism, integrity and doing things differently, would also be represented by Nashie.

“Nashie, from today, you become one of the faces representing that standard,” added Mhishi.

The company believes the partnership can therefore create value for both brands while also encouraging a culture of investment and long-term wealth creation among young people.

Mhishi said the company hoped the partnership would have an impact beyond the duration of the contract.

“May this partnership open doors for both brands. May it create opportunities we have not yet imagined.

“And, above all, may what we begin today become something whose impact extends far beyond the duration of a contract.”

The partnership comes as HSP REALTY seeks to strengthen its brand and position itself as a Zimbabwean real estate company with ambitions that extend beyond the local market.
