The Kadoma Progressive Residents Association (KAPRA) has come out guns blazing, calling on Kadoma City Council to issue an apology for its subpar service delivery.
In a statement issued by KAPRA Chairperson, George Goliati, the council’s waste collection has in the Central Business District (CBD) and Ward 3 been woefully inadequate.
“We demand an apology and explanation from Kadoma City Council for failing to collect waste in the CBD and wards like Ward 3,” read the statement.
Goliati stressed the need for improvement in communication strategies on the council’s part such as embracing new media technologies as is the norm with other councils.
“KAPRA also urges council to adopt effective communication strategies, such as utilizing social media, similar to smaller councils like Kariba.”
Efforts to get a comment from the relevant authorities were unsuccessful as they were reportedly out of office.
