ZimRights has called for non-violence, saying that is the cornerstone of a peaceful society.

In a statement released today in commemoration of International Day of Non-Violence, ZimRights pressed on the need to stand united “in our commitment to peace and human rights for all.”

“At ZimRights, we believe that non-violence is the cornerstone of a peaceful society, where every individual’s rights are respected and upheld.

“This day also marks the launch of our 2025 State of Peace Report, a vital step in documenting the progress and challenges in Zimbabwe’s journey towards peace, justice, and human dignity.

“We continue to advocate for a society free from violence, where every Zimbabwean is empowered to live without fear.

“Let’s take a stand for peace, not just today, but everyday,” read the statement.
