Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Tamer Almassri

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Tamer Almassri, has issued a stark warning about the intensifying Israeli military aggression in the northern West Bank.
The violence has forced over 40,000 Palestinian civilians to flee their homes, leaving behind widespread destruction as entire villages, homes, and infrastructure are systematically demolished.
This brutal campaign, according to Ambassador Almassri, is not just a violation of human rights but a deliberate strategy of annexation and territorial expansion aimed at fragmenting Palestinian communities.
Ambassador Almassri strongly condemns these acts of forced displacement and destruction, particularly in the cities of Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas, and Al-Far’a.
He highlighted that this military escalation is occurring alongside growing threats of renewed conflict in the Gaza Strip, signaling a broader and more dangerous escalation across the occupied Palestinian territories.
“Israeli occupation forces, following directives from “Defense” Minister Katz, have declared their intention to prevent displaced Palestinians from returning to their homes while maintaining a prolonged military presence in the region.
“This move reflects Israel’s continued policy of oppression, occupation, and territorial domination at the expense of Palestinian rights and security.
“The State of Palestine urgently calls on the international community to intervene and take decisive action to pressure Israel into halting its military aggression in the West Bank and enforcing an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
“Failure to act will only escalate tensions, leading to further instability and violence across the region”, Ambassador Almassri explained.
He reaveled that the Palestinian leadership stresses that the ongoing attacks in the West Bank and the looming threat of war in Gaza pose a severe threat to regional and global peace.
The international community must recognize the gravity of the situation and uphold its responsibility to protect Palestinian civilians and enforce international law.
